The Power of Empty Space

This theory describes the most elementary and often neglected element known in the creative industry. It's a component that is most vital in helping the viewer perceive and receive information. Empty Space, White Space, Negative Space, Space found inside and surrounding the other design elements, objects and the background that holds the elements together in a design, enabling them to stand out.

White space is not necessarily white, the name only indicates the space where there are no UI elements and specific content pieces. Many different visual elements make up the Human experience design layout. For instance, typography, lines, icons, images, etc. The idea is to play with the white space around these focal points and objects. Many brands already apply this theory and draw attention to their messages.
